The North East Charity Awards recognise and celebrate the hard work and innovative thinking of our local charities and individual fundraisers, increases awareness of our local charities, celebrates those who work tirelessly to support the many good causes in our region and also celebrates the local businesses and individuals who help to support the work of our charities.

The awards are now in their ninth year and are getting bigger and better each time. The awards are organised by Reach plc and promoted throughout their online site: ChronicleLive and TeessideLive and in the publications The Journal and The Gazette.
