The North East Charity Awards shine a spotlight on the passion, dedication, and innovation of our region’s charities and individual fundraisers. They recognise those who work tirelessly to make a difference, while also celebrating the local businesses and individuals who support these vital causes.

Now in their twelfth year, the awards are bigger and better than ever, highlighting the extraordinary impact happening across our communities. Organised by Reach plc, the awards are promoted across ChronicleLive, TeessideLive, and in The Journal and The Gazette, reaching thousands of people across the region.

Anna Foster has worked on The North East Radio scene for nearly 25 years! She is a passionate advocate for our area and though she’s met many a celeb' in real life, people who do extraordinary things are her favourites' to chat to so she is delighted to be hosting these awards again this year! She currently presents the 10am show weekdays on BBC Radio Newcastle, when she’s not talking for a living she loves to sing, walk her dog, and dance in her kitchen to loud Tech Music !
